Webb County, located on the Mexico border, is surrounded by Dimmit County to the north, La Salle County to the north, Duval County to the east, Jim Hogg County to the southeast, Zapata County to the south, Maverick County to the northwest and Mexico to the southwest. Laredo, the county seat is about 150 miles southwest of San Antonio and about 150 miles west of Corpus Christi.
