Voss, Texas


Located in Southwestern Coleman County, Voss was originally the headquarters of the Leaday Ranch and was named after the ranch foreman who had petitioned the government for a post office. By the early 1900s, Voss had three stores, two hotels, a blacksmith shop, a barber shop, a school, a gin, and a post office.
