Zipperlandville, also called Zipperlen or Zipperlenville, is a small community located five miles west of Rosebud on State Highway 53 in southern Falls County.

Delta Plain. A severe drought in the mid-1880s brought Baylor County rancher T. J. Braidfoot to this area in search of better conditions for his cattle.
Floydada History 1922. Floydada, the county seat, had a population in 1910 of 664. and has greatly improved since the railroad came.
Lockney, at the junction of the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroads, U.S. Highway 70, and Farm roads 97 and 378, in west central Floyd County.
Floyd County. Located in the heart of the Staked Plains region of Texas, Floyd County had an unusual development in advance of railroad facilities.
Crowell, Texas, organized in 1891, was named for the owner of the townsite, George T. Crowell.
Founded in 1880 by Benjamin E. Lower, John Wesley and wife, first settlers.

Foard County was created from adjacent counties March 3. 1891, and organized April 27, 1891.
Foard County Courthouse 1891 - The first courthouse was a story, wood building.
Cotton Gin Cemetery. Margarette Wills, her slaves and her son James S. Wills came to this area in 1845.
Driver Cemetery. Julius Driver (1795-1883) migrated from Georgia in 1852, buying some Faulkenberry headright land, and later giving 4.5 acres for this cemetery.

Garza County. While formal boundaries were given to Garza County in 1876, it remained without county government for more than thirty years, and was organized in 1907.

Dixie was located 2 miles northwest of Garden City. In 1893, when Glasscock County was formed, Dixie almost became the county seat.

Glasscock County. Lying at the foot of the Plains region of West Texas and originally a part of Tom Green County, Glasscock County was created April 4, 1887
Goliad History 1857. "We soon reached Goliad, a settlement of half a dozen houses, two stores, a wheelwright’s and a blacksmith’s shop.
Eldridge. The first post office in Gray County, Eldridge was established on March 20, 1886.

Romero History 1922. Romero is a thriving little town on the Rock Island Railroad.
