Aransas County Courthouse – 1889. Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival style court house built by J. Riely Gordon. Moorish stylistic features were composed into three- and five-part faade compositions. Polychromatic stonework, horseshoe arches, along with ogival roofs, provided a strong character for the building. Cost, $19,494. Building was razed after the opening of the 1956 Courthouse.
Aransas County Courthouse – 1956. “Motel style” modern one-story, brick, concrete, and steel building with ribbon windows across the front facade and two-story slab intersecting the facade. An addition to the building was added in 1983.
